We offer a comprehensive Balance Sheet Review service to analyse and review
the accounts of local authorities. The complexity of
the public sector capital finance regime means that many
Local Authorities do not have adequate in-house resources to effectively audit
their balance sheet.
As well as reviewing live accounts, we are able to review projected consolidated balance sheets, including the examination of the current and potential debt liabilities to identify how they can be most efficiently financed.
In our review, we analyse at least two years' financial statements, examining all aspects of:
- Working capital
- The level of balances
- Reserves
- Capital receipts
